April is National Poetry Month, and it's coming on fast!

As you may know, I write a poetry column for Ms. Magazine each year, so if you are a publisher or writer and haven't sent me your latest collection yet, please send them along or get in touch.

I focus on collections by the global majority published within the last year (so between April 2024 and April 2025) and forthcoming titles. Essentially, I'll cover anything new and forthcoming that I didn't cover in last year's column!

Here are my previous poetry month columns:

When my love of poetry was rekindled in 2019, I was floored at the new, exciting, and profound voices I read. This is still one of my favorite times of year, and poetry remains one of my favorite genres. Because I cannot cover everything in my monthly columns, I dedicate this one giant column to poetry each year. So help me make it shine!

I already have nearly 75 titles in hand, but I have a list of many more. If you want your latest collection considered, please email me, use my contact form, or send the books along if you already have the mailing address.

Many thanks!
